Time after time I’ve been to yard sales and found myself flipping through old magazines and books just to get a feeling of what life was like in another time. One of my favorite elements are the ads. How people used to communicate, style and sell. So, I thought to myself: I can’t be the only one.

From then I started scouring all the old magazines and books I found for what I thought were super cool designs and scanned them. From there I started digitally repairing them as well as possible - to restore them to their original look. Whenever I’ve come across faults that would require me to deviate from the original design, I left the fixes alone. Authenticity over spotlessness.
